【IT168 资讯】目前，微软的工作中心放在了新的Windows Server 2012 Essentials上面。本周，微软发布了Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials的预览版本，主要面向对象是小企业。Windows Server Essentials团队的项目经理杰森-安德森在公司博客中说，Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials主要帮助SMB客户简化虚拟环境的部署过程。

　　Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials预览版新增特征

　　• 能够在Windows Server Essentials主机里创建Windows Server Essentials虚拟客户机；

　　• 能够通过Windows Azure虚拟机在云中部署Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials；

　　• 改进了云集成服务；

　　• 帮助企业解决BYOD问题；

　　• 新增服务状态聚合页面；

　　• 包含了Office 365、Windows Azure活动目录、Windows Intune和Windows Azure备份。

　　据悉，Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials将与Windows Server 2012 R2在年底同时出售。另外，微软还针对Windows Server 2012 R2数据中心版和标准版发布了Windows Essentials Experience服务器角色预览版。
